ACCOUNT MANAGER – EDUCATIONAL TRAVEL
HOME BASED (SOUTH/LONDON AREA)
SALARY UP TO 35K PLUS CAR, COMMISSION AND BENEFITS
An exciting, brand new position has arisen for an experienced customer account/business development manager to work for one of the country’s leading provider of student travel, tours and conferences to higher education colleges and universities throughout the UK.
You will be accountable for the management of sales and relationships of clients based within the South of England, by effectively developing and maintaining preferred supplier, or sole supplier status, with existing clients and developing accounts with potential/new clients.
The role requires you to develop a very strong understanding of the further and higher educational travel market, in order to create long term relationships with academic institutions and to profitably develop the business and generate sales.
Responsibilities include: representing the company in the market place and at industry events and exhibitions where required, attending client on site meetings, delivering tenders and presentations to clients, analysing competitor activity and customer trends.
Experience of the following is required: –
*Managing a sales area
*Customer account management
*New business development and lead generation
*Delivering successful customer presentations
*Meeting and exceeding sales targets
